Nokia N98

The Nokia N98, which made a cameo appearance in the latest Batman feature, The Dark Knight, may be a true competitor to the segment busting Iphone. Availible only in France right now the N98 boast a 7.2 megapixel camera, with a 3.5 inch display that reflects 16 million colors. The N98 also offers WiFi Capabilities and HSDPA 3G support for high speed internet connections plus Bluetooth Wireless with A2DP stereo support. The phone is also a smart phone so it offers all the standard email integration and it also is able to display live TV. Now the camera bears a Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and built-in Xenon flash with Digital zoom up to 20X. When will we get the N98 Stateside? There is no telling bust as a prominent product placement in a record breaking film I will anticipate its arrival this fall before the holiday season.

LG Dare

Available on Verizon’s network, the LG Dare is another multi media touch screen wonder that bears LG sense for style when it comes to mobile devices. It has a large screen with handwriting recognition and is Bluetooth stereo capable. It has a better than most in the US 3.2 Megapixel camera that records video, but why they skimp on the US market I don’t know. UK version have at least 5 megapixels. LG Secret

Slim sleek and sexy the Secret has been bestowed to be more desirable than the women who model in Victoria’s. A very slim phone coming in at 11.8 the Secret also boast a 5MP camera, and high grade carbon fiber. Naturally you can expect a touch interface. The Secret of this phone however is it’s video recording capabilities where it can make DVD quality videos at 30 frames per second. It sports DivX video recording with 4 gig of memory. Not just a digital video recorder where you can also adjust settings and edit video, the Secret is a smart phone also that is able to open word, spreadsheets, powerpoint, text and PDF documents. LG Glimmer

LG had created a new cell phone that combines touch screen capabilities with a slider that features traditional phone buttons. The Glimmer is a nice fashion piece yet it’s fully capable with a 2.0 megapixel camera, up to 4GB memory support, a music player, and Bluetooth stereo support that can also wirelessly transfer contacts and music. Another guilty pleasure you would have to purchase unlocked from Europe is the new Samsung Tocco, which is a GSM enabled 3G Phone. The Tocco features a 2.8in LCD screen with a wiget that allows you to drag and drop applications with ease. It has a powerful 5 megapixel camera and also can be oriented like a camera to take pictures. It also auto enhances your photos and allows you to edit pictures and post them from the device. Sony Hybrid/Hybrid-Plus Camcorders
